All nominations and supporting materials are due by Friday, August 30, 2024.
Each year, the Georgia Council for the Social Studies recognizes and celebrates exemplary social studies instruction at its Awards Ceremony and Luncheon held at the annual conference. We hope that you will take time to nominate outstanding educators and leaders in our state for these prestigious awards.
To nominate a teacher/program for one of the awards, you will need to:
- Complete the nomination form linked below, which gathers the nominee’s contact information and requires you to upload a recommendation letter explaining how this nominee meets the award criteria
- Each nomination form includes the selection criteria and corresponding award recognition
- Nominations must be completed by friday, August 30, 2024
Each person/program nominated will be:
- Notified via email within 24 hours of being nominated
- Asked to submit their corresponding supporting materials directly to GCSS Executive Director, Rhonda Webb no later than Friday, August 30, 2024.
